I continue to work not paying any more attention to David. It must be about 8, David walks up to me.

”I’m heading out meet, you there soon try not to be long” He calls out as he walks out.

Just then my computer rings with an incoming call, it's my dad Alpha Russell, and his Beta, David’s father Joshua. I answer it,

“Hello father, beta” nodding my head in respect to them both.

”Hello son, I hope you are having some fun and not working the whole time you are there?”

I laugh, “No worries Dad, Jeremy is here too so after this I’m going to meet him and David at The Cedar Den.

”Make sure my son doesn’t get in any trouble, will ya,” Beta Joshua says

“No worries Beta Joshua, there will be no trouble while I’m here. So what was so important that we had to meet.”

My dad looks over at Joshua with a grime look and nods at him, giving him the go-ahead to relay what is going on.

“As you know Will we have ears in all packs wolf and otherwise” I nodded at him acknowledging that I knew this.

“Well, we got a report today that the daughter of Alpha Jack from the Kent Moon pack has run away, something to do with him trying to force her to take a chosen mate with the son of Alpha Michael from the Dark Moon Park.”

I growl hearing this, I hate nothing more than my people being forced to do anything, especially having to take a mate that is not their fated.

Beta Joshua clears his throat but continues. “It seems she has been gone for a couple of weeks now and since there has been no signs of her Jack and Michael have now both sent out warriors from their packs to search for her.”

“What!” almost shouting I reply

Now my dad interrupts, “We have tracks out looking for her to bring her here for safety and get the full story as to why she left. We wanted you to know so you can keep an eye out as well. I have just sent you a photo of her and what information we could get about her.”

“Ok, I will take a look at it and share minimal information with David and Jeremy but have them also keep an eye out as well.”

“Why, does a girl think she had to run from her pack and family instead of just telling them no” I say more so in a whisper

“I don’t know son my I hope we find her first to find out why”

I simply nod, I pull up the email in a different window and open the photo and the girl I see is beautiful. Looking at it even makes Hank stir inside of me some.

“Who is that?” he asked me.

“I’ll explain in just a minute”

“Is there anything else we need to discuss Dad, Beta Joshua?” I ask the two men staring at me through the computer screen.

“No that is all,” my father says

“Ok, I should probably get ready to meet David and Jeremy then”

“Have fun and stay safe” Beta Joshua says

Then that window goes dark, and I’m left staring at this photo of a she-wolf who felt she had to run away from her parents because she couldn’t tell them no she didn’t want to take a chosen mate or maybe she did and they wouldn’t accept the answer. At that thought Hank then growls.

“Will, I don’t know what it is, I look at the photo and I get the same feeling as when David asked us to go to the Cedar Den tonight.”

“Well in that case I guess it’s time for me to get ready and head that way then.”
