What have I done?
I growled as soon as I felt Willa's body slumped in my arms. Her breathing was steady as I felt the tiny breaths on my arm. She was sleeping peacefully while I had too many thoughts running through my mind.
I lost control today. I don't lose control when it comes to my love, and here I was, only a month into our relationship, and I f*****g lost it. I grew up learning to control my emotions. Entrap them in the corner of my mind and never let it out. I was the next in line to be king. It was required of me to be the stoic fearless leader. Everyone feared me, respected and moreover listened and obeyed.
Not my Willa. My mate.
When Willa rode in on Horus, I knew the majestic beast would keep her safe, and he would not have brought her if he thought otherwise
