Story 2: Elise goes to another city

337 Words
Here in my country we have those trains that go from city to city. One time as I was going to another city with my parents I saw Elise on the same train. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on whether you like or dislike old trains, this one was from the old ones. If you ask me about my opinion - I love them. "What a lucky day..." thinking about what could follow with her around. Elise was sitting in her place, complaining as usual about how old and slow this train is. I remember asking myself why she even got on it if she's going to complain about it when there are many other ways to get to that one specific city. Then she took out her phone to do who knows what. Suddenly our train stopped and they told everyone that our train will be late due to some problems. Almost everyone sat in their places quietly and patiently waiting for the problem to be solved while our main character started arguing with some people from the staff, probably not knowing that it won't fix anything or make it get fixed faster. Eventually after waiting for about 15 minutes our train was finally fixed and we kept going. Elise finally decided to stop arguing with the staff and sat down. Then she took out her phone again and started complaining about this small wait(compared to how long we usually wait for stuff to be fixed in this country) to her besties and boyfriend. After we got out of the train I asked her why she decided to visit this city, thinking that maybe she came to see the different tourist attractions, museums, monuments but instead our dear Elise just said "There's nothing to see, I'm just here to drink and see my boyfriend". As always, I'll never understand her way of thinking and everyone who is like that. Unfortunately more and more people in this country(or maybe even world) are becoming more like our dear Elise.
