Revenge?

Talia’s POV:

As Hailey let me take control I instantly went up to mate and started inhaling his scent. Showering in it. Hailey was groaning in my head. Pff let her. This is my time to shine and learn all about my wonderful mate. ;)  

As I was still sniffing my mates scent I felt a tingle shoot up my spine and looked to see where they were coming from. Looking down I eyes met the hands of my mate laying on my waist, feeling the blood rush to my cheeks of the simple interaction I looked up I realise that my mate was staring down at me with those beautiful golden eyes. Damn all the things I want to do to him right now! 

Talia don’t even think about it! I’m not ready for him yet... Hailey screeched in my head. Stupid, she acts like I can’t feel how much she wants to feel him too. She can feel him right now but not as clear as I’m feeling since I am in control. But I respect her decision and shrug the thoughts out of my mind, forcing them to something more in her comfort zone like food. I filled my thoughts with steaks, burgers and pizzas. Oo how we loved the smell of pizza, whenever we cooked it. But what can I say Hailey’s a natural at cooking. I finally stepped away from my mate causing him to whine. Omg he is so adorable!! 

“Hi! Omg you don’t know how long I’ve waited for this day to come when I would meet my mate!! What’s your name? What pack are you from? What is your favourite food?” I rambled on and on to him. Just as I was about to start questioning him some more he let out a deep chuckle that sent me into a frenzy. He was so hot like ... OMFG!!!

“Haha calm down we have forever for all of the questions and besides I want to know about you first! Everything about you!” He said, “but first let’s start of with names? My name is Mason and my humans name is Noah!” Noah and Mason. I liked those names a lot. Just before I was about to reply Alpha Jake came bursting through the doors. Startling me and Mason. He looked like he had just seen a ghost and been to hell and back. Ha! Now he know how me and Hailey felt every time he would come and beat us.

“A-alpha  Noah! I’m very sorry I d-didn’t realise that she was y-your mate! If I d-Id I would never have hit her in fro-nt of y-you!” He stuttered out all at once. I just about heard what he said he was talking that quick! 

Omg what if mate gets hurt! I don’t want to feel that pain. We can handle it but what if he can’t?!?  Hailey was frantic in my head panicking about our mates health. I laughed at her in my head and said,

‘Hailey calm down! From the looks of it I am pretty sure that he can handle Alpha Jake! Maybe even save us from him!!’ Just as I was about to answer for my mate I was cut off. 

“My mate and I are leaving! If I ever see you near me or my mate then I won’t hesitate to kill you!” He screamed at Alpha. And I’m not gonna lie that kinda turned me on...

He picked me up bridal style and walked out of the house, seeming to forget about the pack members he had left behind. I was about to remind him when his beta came out with the rest of the pack. Had they heard the argument that Mason and Alpha Jake had?!? I shifted in his arms tingles were flying through my body as I’m sure they were for Mason. 

“Stop fidgeting, baby girl. Don’t worry your safe now!” He said glancing down at me. I stared at his face, admiring it. Even Hailey had to admit that he was pretty handsome and she felt safe inside of his arms. However she wasn’t ready to trust him like that yet so I decided to back down and not take anything to far knowing I would lose the trust I had with her. I looked in to the back of my mind and started communicating with Hailey. 

“Hey how you feeling? You know... with all of the getting saved from Alpha Jake by our mate?” I asked her cautiously. I didn’t want to hurt her feelings since I knew this was a sensitive topic with her. I thought she was going to shut the conversation down but then she surprised me, she replied,

‘I don’t know... I mean he saved us from Alpha Jake but what if this all an act and he switches up as soon as we get to his pack...?’  She sounded sad and confused. Part of her wanted to believe that he wouldn’t hurt her but the other half was unconfident. It wasn’t her fault though. It was that foul, disgusting man, Alpha Jake, that planted these thoughts into her head. And I would get my revenge.
