“Thank you, Tilly. I really appreciate it.” I give her a warm smile. “Sure, no problem. You’re helping me. It’s the least I can do.” As Luca walks around the table, attempting to get some distance from Tilly, she swoops toward him and goes to stand inside him again. “I’ll do it later today if you don’t mind. I’d like to follow this one around a bit. You know, keep him a little cooled off.” I sputter a laugh. This rewards me with an annoyed look from Luca. “That sounds like the best idea ever.” It takes Luca and me nearly an hour after that to be able to leave.
