Robert Stuart is the Head of Security for a businesswoman Mrs. Jade Cooper in New York, USA. Robert has a wife and three sons - Chris, Will, Brad who live in Manhattan. Robert is about to retire and head back to Manhattan to spend all his free time with his family. On the last days of his service, Emerald throws an engagement party for her eldest daughter, Emerald, Jade has two other daughters–Sapphire, Ruby. At Emerald engagement party, a drunk journalist, Steve, threatens Jade vowing to reveal her deepest secret. Robert takes Steve into custody and away from the party. After some time, a gunshot is heard and Steve is found dead.

The sisters are slowly recovering from the grief with the help of the Stuart brothers when tragedy enters in the form of Aunt Roxy (who tries to break the relationships between the Cooper girls and Stuart boys), Miachel (who sets his eyes on Ruby and takes an MMSMultimedia Messaging Service of her while she was bathing), and Rima (who is in love with Will and tries to hurt Sapphire and her unborn baby). The trio of Aunt,Miachel, Rima is successful in driving a wedge between Chris and Emerald and throws Emerald, who is the strongest of the three sisters, out of the house. Emerald was accused of leading to the death of Chris's comatose mother due to her negligence.

It's been a week that I have not took any drugs and alcohols. My body is shivering from the hunger of drugs. My stomache is paining with the need of alcohols. Mom often came in the room or stay with me to take care.

But Today, I could not able to control and I need the drugs anyhow. I grab the phone from the table and called t the drug dealer, Brown. "I need a packet of drugs in the city hospital now," I said while gulping my thirst. My hands shivered and felt the tendency of vomitting. I ran towards washroom and vomit quickly. My body felt tired and restless. Then, i heard the sound. of mom while I fall on the ground and lost my consciousness. After few hours, I was up by the sound of the IV drops mom was sitting next to me in a chair, while keeping her head the bed. I cleared my throat to wake up but she did not response. suddenly, My phone rang and mom groaned as rub her neck. i felt worried for her but did not know how to express it. she looked at me and smiled, "you are wakeup. how are you feeling now". But her conversation was halted by the continuous rings of my phone. I get tensed that may be Brown was calling. I was attached to the IV so could not reached to my phone.

So, Mom picked up the call and put it on the speaker, "Where the bull s**t are you? I have brought the drug as you have asked me",he said angrily.

Mom eyes grew wider and she hang up the call. i gulped my embarassment and looked up mom. She did not say me anything and kept the phone on the table.

She took out the money from her bag and sighed heavily, "where he has asked you to come. i will bring the packet for you. But don't forget about Emily." She emphasised word i recalled the memories of dad's last words, Be brave. And I proved him wrong that i would never be brave to overcome my flaws and face the situation. I have to control my body and put the courage to face in anyhow.

"Don't bring it I don't need it now," I mumbled and closed my eyes. I have not courage to face her. Then heard the footsteps of her towards the door. "Don't repeat it again. we are leaving tomorrow this city. If you want to leave these things then come home with Alex tonight,"She said in one breath and left the room.

Shit I cursed under my breath in frustration and close my eyes to relax. After few hours, I felt my hands touched and heard my name called again and again. I opened my eyes slightly and groaned in pain, "Are you okay?" Alexander asked me with puckered forehead. I nodded my head in response. "Hmm",he hummed in reply. I saw that I was shifted in a common room and attached with IV cords. He fidgeted his fingers as if he wanted to say some thing but was not able. "When we are leaving home?", I asked him while sitting on the bed. He blinked his eyes and asked me in confusion, "Home?" I shrugged my shoulders and did not want to emphasize more on that word. Then they might think that I have forgiven them. He moved forward to help me when I was climbing down from the bed. I stopped him, putting my palm on his face. I stood on my feet and went inside the washroom and changed into the dress which might be kept my mother. It was a pair of a jeans and top. I walked out of the washroom and said in a cold tone, "Let's go wherever your wife is waiting", his face brighten and a smile played on his face. he rigoursly nodded his head in happiness.

I was waiting for him in a car while he was clearing all the hospital formalities. He stepped out of the hospital wearing formal tux suit like dad used to wear. I shook my head that I was camparing hin with my dad. The place no one can take ever. He opened the door of the car and sit beside the seat of mine. Then, he handed a energetic drink and said while putting on his seat belt, "the doctor has asked you to drink more liquid and to ignore the alcohol and other drugs. "Hmm " I hummed in response and opened the bottle of energetic drink. The whole drive of was silent neither I said anything nor him. I sighed in relief that he did not said anything then may be I could say something which might hurt him. It just my angers the ages could not disappear once. I need time to settle my mind and do not repeat the mistake. the car halted and paused my thought. As I walked out of the car, saw Emily running towards me. "Sophia has arrived Big mama," she said clapping her hands and holding her teddy in her one arm. I smiled at her happiness clapping and picked up her in my arms. "How are you, Emily ?" I asked her.

She smiled flashing her tooth and holds my finger with hers. Behind her my mom comes out of the smile. Surprise lingered in her eyes, she paused on her way and stared me intendly. "Rose, we have to depart at 12am the flight would be ready before an hour," Alexander spoke to her, giving her hug. She averted her gaze to Alexander and nodded her head in response. "I have prepared a room for you. It's next to the room of Emily," she said turning her back to me. Her voice deeper's and face turned red.She might be crying my heart twisted from the pain.though we have not a good relation but I cared for he still. Emily took me to her room and showed her toys and dolls. I was glad that she living with Mr. and Mrs Reed .As mom had told me that they have adopt her. They want to lesser my guilt by adopting her and also don't want another sophia. "Sophia, Sophia," My thoughts were interrupted by Emily voice .I raised my eyebrows and asked her. "Yes, emily." She tugged her hair strands and please "Have you left doing bad things ?". Her question took me off guard and she looked with a hope that I left the bad things of my life. I don't want to hurt her feelings.So without answering her I walked out of her room.
