She was with her friends in a club and they were having fun yet in just a blink of an eye, Khloe disappeared. Until now, the police are still investigating about her case and finding her. If you ever saw her in person, please call the contact number that can be seen on your screen. There's a 800,000 pesos prize to those who can find and bring her safely." "What's that? A girl disappeared again? Gosh, there's a lot of people who are found gone this month and all of them are women. Are they mad at us?" My cousin, Louisiana, said. I didn't say anything and just continued writing a poem on my paper. There's really a lot of disappearance that had happened this month. They are still not found and there aren't any news about their body if ever the person who's the reason of their disappearance did something to them. To be honest, I am scared because life is too short. I am scared that what if one day, I'll wake up and become one of them, I would be in their position. "So what you should do is don't go outside. Don't roam around for we don't know what is the reason of their sudden disappearance. What we must do is to stay inside our house and be still." "I am not that type of person who likes to go outside and mingle with everyone. As you can see, I am still inside our house and staying here as always. I haven't gone to somewhere just because I don't have money. And Louis, we are still not sure that the disappearance of them had happened on the outside." I said, seriously facing at her. She fixed the clothes that she hang near our window then she went to me and read what I am writing. It is still not yet done but her expression is in awe, she's overreacting. "You really write great. You should pass or submit that in the publishing houses that you know." "I am not that serious here. This is my hobby, okay? And believe me, Louis. No one would like this trash, it's not that great." I said and closed my notes. I cannot focus on what I am doing if someone would stare at my work. "Suit yourself. It's great but you're just overthinking. If I have that talent, I would go to different kinds of publishing house and submit my work. It's not a big deal, actually." Huh, she just can't understand me. I am afraid of disappointment, I am afraid of rejection, and I am afraid that they would think the same way as I am. It's better to hide it rather than experience heartbreaks like that. "By the way, I'll be going outside to buy some food for dinner. Don't you wanna come? I can't leave you here, you know. I am afraid that something will happen to you." Louisiana said. She's going outside with that look? For Pete's sake, she's just wearing pajamas. I stared at what she's wearing, the reason why she snorted. She completely understood what I am saying. She left me and went to her room to change her clothes. She's always like that, she doesn't really like pampering up and wearing lavish clothes. She doesn't wear heels, makeups, dresses, and all sort of girly stuffs. When she came back, she's now on her white tank top and a black skirt, not too short yet not too long. She looks okay, it's much better than how she looks earlier. "What do you want for dinner? I am cooking." She said. She brought her purse with her, she's paying too. Why the change of mind? "You're cooking and you're also paying? Where's my cousin? Who are you?" She crinkled her nose, "Stupid, I'll change my mind if you're acting like that. Come on, my patience is wearing thin." "Don't be like that. I am just kidding. You're beautiful, okay? Love you!" I laughed at her, she just made a face. Completely not taking my words seriously. We locked our house. Me and my cousin lives in the same place. Well, we made a promise when we graduated college that we will stick with each other until we'll grow old. Boyfriends and husbands? We got none of those and it's happy that way. We bought this house not too long ago, it's just a simple two story house. It's small compared to my parent's house but that's not important, it's how we use our own money to buy it. We rode a taxi going to the market. I really thought that we're just going to buy at the nearest convenience store. Louisiana really wants to spend all her money tonight. "You want this beef? Or this chicken?" She said while pointing at the beef and the chicken. "Depends upon you. What will you cook? Steak or chicken curry? Oh! Why not try adobo, a filipino dish?" "Why not try?" She snorted, "I always cook that, Talulla." Oh. I forgot. Me and Louisiana are half filipino and born in the Philippines. Despite being born there, we migrated here in New York. This is where we studied college. "Sorry, okay? Dami mong alam." She just rolled her eyes at me. I grinned at her and went to the fridge to get some ice cream. I have some money here and I badly need this, this is my comfort food. Whenever I write poems or stories in our house, I always eat this because it calms my mind. "Louisiana, what do you want? Chocolate or strawberry?" I turned around and furrowed my brows when I didn't saw her. Where is she? Why did she leave our cart? I placed the ice cream tub that I got from the fridge and pushed our cart to find her. It took me five minutes but I still haven't found her. Where the hell is she? "Louisiana!" I called her but I heard no reply. I immediately picked my phone from my bag and dialed her number. Her number is out of reach. Her number is out of reach! Where the hell did she go? I called again and again and again. She's still not picking up her phone nor replying to any of my messages. I sat near our cart and my eyes widened when I saw her phone inside the food that she place in our cart. I dug her phone, it was off. I opened it and saw that her battery is full, completely full but where did she go? The news that I saw earlier began to pop out in my mind. With shaking hands, I rummaged through her phone. I checked every messages that she sent, checked her social media, and even checked all her apps. Until I found an app that is not familiar to me, it was an app called X. I pressed the app and saw that it was a dating app. A f*****g dating app! Why is she using this? My vision went blurry when I saw the last message that she sent and received.. Louisiana Portia Montenegro: You're breaking up with me? I haven't done anything wrong! I just want to know who you are yet now, you're not replying to any of my messages and this clearly shows that you want me out. You want me out of this relationship! Bastard! Anonymous: Bye. Louisiana, where the hell are you? And what is this app?
