Demetrio is sitting in the chair beside June’s hospital bed, watching her carefully as she remains unconscious, breathing softly as her head rests against the pillows behind her. “Demetrio…” Demetrio hears someone call, making him turn to the door and watch as Amethyst walks into the room, holding onto two cups of coffee just as she smiles softly at him and closes the door behind her.
