“Anyways, I’ll see you later Donna…” June interrupts Emeliana’s thoughts, reminding Emeliana that she is still present and Emeliana zones back into the conversation and nods once at June, letting her know she’s free to leave.
Just as June leaves the room, Emeliana hears someone else’s footsteps approach and she turns her head in that direction to see who is seconds away from joining her. Luca then emerges from the corner just as he passes by June, greeting her briefly before he focuses his attention on Emeliana, not expecting to find her alone…
“He’s left already?” Luca asks, hoping he could find out how their conversation was going while Mattia was still here.
