His:Always and forever

Chapter 8

Alice's P.O.V

So today is the day we go and

look at the school. I have no idea what I want, so just see what my options are. After breakfast, I get ready and make sure I have everything as I want to explore later.

Both my aunt and uncle come with me to the school. It looks nice fancier than my old school. Hope there is no uniform. I don't want to deal with that again.

After a look around, we sit down and get to see what classes I can take. Also, I have a few months till I start as I start until September and only June.

Once everything is sorted, we head out. "Can you drop me off somewhere so I can have a look around? See what I can find," I ask. "Sure, I'll drop you in the middle of town. I'm sure you will find everything you want there,"my uncle says as we start driving. "Yes it has everything you want there, we haven't had chance to get you a bank card yet so here's some money too get anything as it's nearly lunch so you'll need to eat" my aunt says smiling and passes me some money. More than I will need for food. " Thank you." I'll give any I have left.

"Oh and you have our numbers we can always come pick you up or give you suggestions of where to go" I reassure my aunt by saying "yes I do I will just try and find bits myself, I have my phone so hopefully won't get lost" I say laughing at the end.

" here we are most shops and everything is round here, most people will speak a bit of English so I'm sure you will be fine, just remember to call if you need anything" my uncle tells me.

"Sure, see you later," I say as I get out of the car. I look around, and it looks like town back home just has an older feel to it. I start walking, I see plenty of shops but I don't need anything so no going in, yes I know I hate shopping only if I need things which I don't so I can just make a note for the future.

There are lots of shops and cafes. I settle on a little cafe that isn't too busy, but the smell of food and coffee makes me hungry. I order and sit outside, just watching as people go past. No, I'm not a weirdo. As I'm eating, I look down the road to see what looks like a gym, I will have a look. Working out and hitting is my jam.

Just sat alone with my own thoughts, which is nice. Looking around, I feel like I'm on holiday just visiting, but I'm here to stay. It's still strange that I'm in a different country, not just a holiday. I'll just have to make the most of it here.

I finish up and decide to go have a look at the gym. As I go in, I see it's up to date with everything and even has a boxing ring at the back. I think this will be perfect. Might as well sign up while I'm here. Sure, I'll be here a lot.

As I'm leaving, I bump into james, surprising as there is a gym at home and doesn't look much of a fighter.

"Hey james, what brings you here?"

"Just learning a few moves," he says, but something isn't sitting right about it.

"You enjoying what the town has," he says, changing the subject.

"Yes, it has everything. I've even signed up the gym here." he seems shocked when I say about the gym.

He seems to be looking behind me, so I turn and see who it is. That shocks me as it is that jerk again. I know his name is Marco, as sam told me, but I think Jerk suits him better.

I turn back to james and he looks scared, which is strange. Before I can ask anything, someone walks up behind me. "I hope you're ready for the fight." Of course, it's that jerk.

"Yes sir," james said like he was about to pee himself.

WTF? That's strange. "I didn't know you were a fighter," I say to james.

"Oh yeah, james here loves to fight," the jerks say while patting james on the back. James seems off and scared. Well, something is definitely going on here.

"What kind of fight is it? I wouldn't love to come and watch," I say.

James looks like he doesn't want me there "no it's not -" he starts saying when he gets cut off. " I'm sure james would love to have you in his corner, I'll make sure you have the best spot," Jerk says with a sly smile.

"I have to go I'll see you both soon" as he walks away.

"James what the hell is going on that seemed a bit off" I ask.

"It's nothing, are you finished in town do you want a lift home" changing the subject again.

"Sure why not"

The drive home I tried asking again but he wouldn't tell me, well I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I just wish he would tell me I know we don't know each other well but he's family I would help If I knew what was going on and I could.

I go back to my room and try to forget about it. I forgot to look for a job while I was in town with everything going on so I will have to go back. For now I'll look online I only want a part time job just some extra cash and it can work round school when I start.

I find a few that I apply for something to keep me busy I guess. I also have my online business so I guess that will keep me going.

I see I have a few jobs come through ill have a look later. It's dinner and I'm starving.
