“No. I never got around to it.” Teo’s grip tightened. When his lashes ducked, his attention very noticeably fixating on Ryan’s mouth, Ryan was convinced he was going to kiss him. He caught his breath, waiting for the first twitch of Teo’s muscles to precede him lowering his head. Instead, Teo let him go and took a step back. Fresh sunlight streamed in behind him. “I should check on Antonio,” he said, though there were fifty other adults outside the barn who would be more than willing to help the boy.
