Chapter Two
The O'Aldonna Villa 🏡
A voice whispered in Sapphire's mind, "You were meant to die and suffer cruelly at my hands." The melancholy tone sent shivers down her spine, and she took a step backward in fear. "Show yourself! Why do you keep hiding your face?" Sapphire demanded, trying to calm her nerves. The voice responded with a menacing chuckle, "Wow, really brave. I'll show myself, but your soul and essence will belong to me." Sapphire's breath caught in her throat as she wondered if she was going to die that day. Various thoughts flashed through her mind. Just as the voice said, "Now say your last wish and die," Roman, Mr. O'Aldonna, called out, waking Sapphire from her nightmare. "Sapphire, Phire, Sapphire." Sapphire jerked up from the bed, startled, and breathed heavily. Beads of sweat covered her face. "No! I won't die!" she yelled. Roman asked softly, "Are you okay?" as he patted her gently. Sapphire nodded after a moment. "I'm fine." Roman turned toward the bathroom. "Should I call Aunt Leah?" Sapphire shook her head. "No." "You should go. I want to prepare for school," Sapphire muttered, entering the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, Sapphire sighed silently after hearing the door close behind Roman. She thought, "He's gone." As she removed her nightwear, Sapphire noticed a faint mark next to her belly button. Every time she had that dream, a mark appeared, and each one was more painful and agonizing. "I need a permanent solution to this," Sapphire muttered, sighing inwardly.
Meanwhile, Roman walked toward Bethany, his mistress. "Tell Leah to prepare the usual for Sapphire instead of the normal breakfast." Bethany asked, "Did the dream appear again?" Roman nodded, and she nodded in response. "Just do what I said," Roman added before walking away. Bethany's expression turned ugly as she thought about Roman's impending marriage. A wild thought flashed through her mind as she added quickly, "Silvia and Greg would be returning soon." Roman said, "Oh, that's all," before entering his study, making Bethany clench her fist in anger. "This is getting out of hand," she muttered, her nails digging into her flesh. "An eye for an eye."

So, we all know that a very important aspect of mathematics is calculus. At SU, the professor was unable to complete his speech as there was a screech from the door, making everybody's attention, including Professor Sean's, focus on the person who had just walked in. Miss O'Aldonna, he called sternly, making Sapphire retreat a little. "This old monk," she thought as she raised her head towards him. "You should be well aware that you are late to my lecture, and what I hate the most is lateness to your lectures." Sapphire quickly added, not giving him a chance to finish, "Alright, I'll pardon you this one." Professor Sean muttered, wanting to wave his head, signifying she could go.
But at that moment, the door swung open, and the students all widened their eyes, expecting another drama. Thinking of that, a face came into view, known to be none other than Troy O'Aldonna, Sapphire's brother, the second-in-command of the school's gang, the charming prince, and the school heartthrob. Nevertheless, he was the school's most good-looking student, and him standing there was a wave of attraction coupled with Sapphire, who was a few steps ahead; they were just dazzling. "Here comes the Westerville King," Professor Sean added sarcastically. Troy's expression changed slightly, but he quickly added, "I am sorry, Professor. Something came up." He made up an excuse instantly, and even Sapphire sighed in her heart, hiding her discomfort, before turning to meet his gaze while asking, "Can I go, Professor?" "Yes, you can," he added with a slight wave, his attention on Troy. This made all interest piqued. _These two were considered perfect._ Unlike the others, he cursed slightly, but luck worked in his favor as the bell rang for a change of lessons, startling Professor Sean as he quickly tidied up his things, wanting to go out. But Troy's expectations were cut off as he added, "See me during your free time." With that, he walked out.

_The Glitteratii Lounge_
"Sapphire," Lexi called, rushing inside as she hugged Sapphire. Sapphire sighed as She teased, "Why are you acting as if my death is near?" Lexi secretly rolled her eyes. "Don't you know how pale you look?" Tanya, who had come in behind Lexi, muttered. She really wasn't as dramatic as Lexi. "I'm really fine," Sapphire added as they all sneered. Marrie chimed in, "Says the person who shivers all day and can't hold a pen." Sapphire scoffed, facing Lexi, "Where are your photography skills?" she asked, hinting at Lexi. "You're not for real, girl," Chloe added as both she and Dani walked in. "You're in ill health, and you decided to come to school?" Dani muttered, placing her hands on Sapphire's shoulder. "Come on, it's just a dream," Sapphire argued. "A dream," Chloe mumbled as she sat down. "Did you have something to do about it?" Marrie asked, and each of them faced her eagerly. Chloe stated, "I didn't apply medical courses," but Lexi urged her to continue. Chloe sighed before adding, "The Butterfly Fairy reincarnated." The entire lounge fell silent, as if a pin drop could be heard.
"How is it related to Sapphire's dream?" Dani asked, breaking the silence. Chloe stood up, placing her hand on Sapphire's, and a bright light flowed from their bodies, emitting different lights. Not long after, Chloe removed her hand, and the girls looked at her in surprise before facing Sapphire. "Are you better now?" they asked together, making Chloe shake her head. "Are you all really this dull?" she muttered.
"What did you mean, Chloe?" Marrie asked, turning to face her. "Don't you think her dreams are related to the reincarnated Butterfly Fairy?" Lexi asked after some thought, "Are you sayiy "Sapphire's is the reincarnation?" Lexi asked. "For that, I really can't place it," Chloe replied after some thought. "So, all these dreams about soul and essence are for the reincarnation of the fairy?" Tanya asked, as if more understanding. "Reincarnation of fairy trash," Sapphire, who had been silent, added with disbelief. "In terms of being a cultivator, I am the worst here. Just like an ordinary student, I despise martial arts. As for magic wielders, I hardly put them to use. Still, ordinary," Sapphire explained, and they all had different thoughts.
"If you are not related to the Butterfly Fairy, then why the dreams?" Dani asked. Sapphire thoughtfully managed to say, "Oh, that," as she fell into confusion, glancing at Chloe, whose gaze was on her. "If she really is, it really isn't good for her."
_Clang, clang_ "Void formation," Tanya muttered as she felt the magical powers surging from outside. "Isn't that a cultivator?" Chloe mumbled, having felt it at first but chose to ignore it. "This isn't just a cultivator," Tanya added, facing Chloe, who furrowed her brow. "Do you think it's Troy and the rest?" Lexi asked suddenly, and Sapphire nodded in disapproval. "Troy doesn't use such formations, and to him, fighting isn't an option. If he does, the others will be seriously injured or killed."
"All this long talk, I'm going to check it out," Marrie added, teleporting. "I wouldn't miss the drama," Lexi grinned, bringing out her phone. "Me too," Tanya added, taking a few strands of her hair backwards. "Me three," Dani added with a knowing look, and with that, they all went together. "I'll just take a nap," Sapphire muttered, and Chloe nodded. "No problem, I'm still here in case your body starts heating up again," Chloe said, laced with concern.
On the other side, the girl had successfully appeared using a void formation, hiding their presence. Only those who were cultivators and power wielders could sense their presence. "It seems more of a contest," Dani muttered, watching the moves of the cultivators. "Yeah, more of a challenge," Lexi added, her gaze solely on them. "Do you think he would challenge Troy and his friend?" Lexi asked no one in particular, referring to the one who had an upper hand. "He is just wanting to make a name for himself," her gaze getting more interested. "He is no match," Marrie finally added, taking her gaze from them and focusing on another direction.
From a corner, Troy and the duo watched the fight with interest, a small curve forming from his mouth.
"His technique doesn't look ordinary," Carol muttered. "He was the leader of their gang."
Baron, the last of the gang, asked a bit surprised, "Why did you think so?"
Troy explained, "To be honest, he just really didn't think much of the duel. I felt something was wrong; he really lowered his power to a floor level, and yet he has the ability to control more than one skill."
He added, "He himself had found him quite amusing, but unfortunately, no one could tell he was skilled with a mask."
"Since he doesn't seem ordinary, isn't it better we stay clear?" Baron muttered, his gaze shifting.
Speaking of which, "I didn't sense Sapphire's presence," Troy mumbled as the rest squinted their eyes, having serious expressions.
"But Marrie is here," Baron added. "He was able to detect her because of their sibling bond."
"Not just her," Baron pondered. "Lexi, Tanya, and Dani."
"Her number isn't connecting," Troy said, a hint of worry laced in his tone.
"Chill, bro, Chloe isn't here; I guess she's with Sapphire," Baron reasoned.
"It better be," Troy stated. With that, the trio finally left the scene, causing Marrie, who had been secretly staring at them, to retract her gaze.
As she faced her friends, she added, "Let's go."
"Yeah, the duel is over; let's go check on both of them," Tanya suggested, and the rest nodded in accordance.
"Our invincibility mode is running out," Dani stated.
"Let's go then," Marrie added, as the rest turned to Lexi, who was trying to activate her teleportation
"What’s wrong?" Tanya asked as the other girls turned toward her.
"It seems I can’t teleport right now," Lexi replied, biting her lip slowly. Just then, her phone chimed, indicating a notification, and she quickly took it out.
"Don’t worry, you guys can go," Lexi added, pursing her lips as she scrolled down her phone.
"Your boyfriend?" Tanya teased, causing Lexi to roll her eyes and tell her to shut up.
"Boyfriend?" the remaining girls said simultaneously, their curiosity piqued. "So, out with it," they seemed to ask, as Lexi had never mentioned a word about having a boyfriend.
"Quite the dumb and nerdy type," Tanya added with a nod, as if reading their minds. This caused a dramatic change in Lexi’s expression; she glared at Tanya, who quickly retracted her words before teleporting with the rest.
"That b***h," Lexi muttered under her breath with gritted teeth, heading in the opposite direction.
"She needs a good whipping," she mouthed to herself, making sure no one was around before making herself visible.
"Much better," a voice said from the other end, startling Lexi.
"What the...?" Lexi exclaimed. "How did someone appear without me detecting their presence?
Who is that, that is causing my Lexi to be startled 🧐
