After an hour of collecting pollution spores, Zoe's purification value had risen to 645. The subsequent task of collecting the remnants of the pollutants was left to the incoming cleaning team. Zoe was summoned by the center for a comprehensive data collection, which she accepted without hesitation, understanding the anomaly of her situation.

"Don’t worry," Captain Emily reassured Zoe, "During the data collection, your wages will be calculated as normal duty, around 15,000 credits."

Zoe, initially irritated, felt her mood lift at the mention of the substantial compensation. She was escorted by two officials who collected the purified spores and requested her helmet, which contained crucial data and recordings. Reluctantly, Zoe handed it over and was taken to the 66th floor for the data collection process.

Upon arrival, Zoe was greeted by a team of scientists clad in white lab coats. “Miss Zoe, right this way, please,” one of the doctors said, leading her through a series of corridors to a room marked ‘Observation Room A’.

Zoe was surprised by the room's warm and comforting ambiance, contrary to the sterile clinical environment she had expected. The assistant handed her a data collection device to attach to her temple and wrist. “It’ll monitor your vitals and alert us to any abnormalities,” he explained.

Ensuring minimal discomfort, the device was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. The assistant assured her of the precision of the device. Zoe, though curious about how the data might reveal her unique situation, agreed to the process.

Settling into her spacious and well-equipped room, Zoe pondered her future. As she lay in the comfortable bed, she accessed her system panel with her eyes closed, inadvertently revealing her use of an internal system to any observer.

Suddenly, Zoe sensed something amiss and turned towards the door. Although nothing seemed out of place, she felt an unsettling sensation of being watched. Unbeknownst to her, the room was equipped with thousands of observational eyes, a technology derived from the properties of pollution spores.
