Rare And Powerfull

In the middle of the forest, a girl was sitting alone on a lone bench in front of a little cabin. Funny how a girl and a cabin would be in the middle of a forest. Well, let's leave that for some other time. Her legs dangle under the chair as she closed her eyes while visualizing a life she wished to have. Suddenly, her eyes widened. “That’s a dove. It's hurt. Poor dove. I'll go help it,” Raziel stood up from the wooden bench she was sitting on and moved to help the white dove that was lying helplessly on the floor. She squatted before picking the injured dove in her arms and caressing it. Her mother used to say that an injured dove signifies a bad omen. She feels that wasn't right. Even a dove has the right to get injured. Poor doves. “Poor dove. You're injured. Does it hurt? Poor thing. I'm certain it's been a long time since you got out of this forest just like us. Sad!” She and her family have been living in this forest for the past years and it was all thanks to her. “Don't worry. I bring you somewhere no one knows about and I'll treat you.” Just as she stood up from her position, she heard a loud call from her mother. "Raziel, Raziel," the loud call of her mother reverberated around the lonely forest and Raziel fearfully turned to stare at her. Raziel stuttered, acknowledging the woman who was glaring at her. “M..mother.” "What are you holding? Do you realize that's an injured dove?” The mother asked. “Mother. The do..dove was poor and I have to save it before it di..dies." “Don't I always tell you what an injured dove means? It's a bad omen. The day we were sent here, you also saw one right?” “But it..it wasn't the dove’s fault.” "Obviously. It was your fault after all. If you haven't tried to commit suicide several years ago, we would still be living fine and respected in Daxtan and here you are smiling at doves every single day that passes by," the mother scolded and panted after her heavy statement that took a lot of strength for her to say. “I…I’m sorry.” “Throw it away.” “Wh…what?” “Now!” “Mother.” “Throw the dove away.” “But mother. Th…the dove… it’s injured. It will die. Please don’t,” Raziel cried as her mother took the one from her and this it far from them. “You keep disappointing me every time. Look at your sisters, Jaria and May. Although you all were born on the same day, they know the spells and they also know how to cast them all like a pro, but what about you? You don’t know them or how to cast one and the painful part is that you’re not willing to learn at all," Raziel’s mother fumed. What exactly did she do for the holy one to curse her with a daughter like Raziel? She not only stutters but doesn’t know how to cast spells that every witch was supposed to know how to cast. She wasn't willing to learn at all. All she ever does was go about having birds and all forms of creatures as her pets as if they would protect her when the time comes. If Raziel was like her other two sisters Jaria and May, she would be having no problems in her life right now. But Raziel was so rebellious that she didn't listen to anything or anyone except her heart. Maybe she was at fault for not training her to be as perfect as her two sisters. “Th..they’re di…difficult.” “You're going to tell me that it's also difficult to stop stuttering also? Whenever I hear you speak like this, I wonder if you came from my very own womb, Raziel.” “Rachel!” The voice of a man made them turn and Rachel rolled her eyes at her husband. “Stay out of this Maxwell.” “I won't. Why do you keep reminding her of these incidents that happened a long time ago? She was a child then.” he snapped. “And is she still a child now? She's 22 and still can't cast spells. I'm done here,” Ravhel walked into the cabin in anger. Maxwell sighed, stared at his daughter for the last time, before following his wife inside the cabin. Raziel stared at the place where her mother had thrown the dove. It was far. Who knows what this injured dove was going to mean today. Perhaps a good fortune, perhaps a worst nightmare or perhaps both. She turned her back to the cabin and started walking in the opposite direction. She should go check on her pets and feed them in her hidden cave.Getting to the cave, she picked a bowl and walked outside to get water from the river just behind the cave. She squatted and got water into the bowl. “Aish, my skirt got wet,” she exclaimed, standing up and wiping her skirt with one hand and with the other, she held the bowl of water. Just as she raised her head, someone came into view. It was a man. He was clutching the side of his stomach and holding a small staff in his hands. He was staggering towards her. Her eyes widened. "Who...who are you?" She inquired. What was this man doing here? Worst he was looking purple and scart. "Don't co...come any closer p..purple man," Raziel yelled and ran to drop the bowl of water, before turning back to him, only to find him on the ground. She walked towards the man in slow steps. He man was purple. Who would have thought that apart from white and black, they were also purple colored people in this world. “Mr? Mr, a..are you alright?” She asked but recieved no response from him. She squatted and stared at his face. It was purple and bruised. Right! Poison. It looks like he was poisoned. During their stay in this forest, her mother taught her things like this and what it looks like. Her mind was in chaos. What if he was a criminal? What if he's not? But Poor man. Perhaps he was bitten by a poisonous animal in the forest. Raziel held his shoulder to raise him but she landed flat on her butt even before she could reach halfway. Haha, who was she kidding? Does she think that she would be able to raise such a big man like that? This man surely was heavy. What does he eat? She complained inwardly, rubbing her butt. She tried again, raising him to his feet and wrapping his arms on her shoulder as she helped him into the cave. Luckily, there was a wooden bed there and she dropped him on it. She took the golden half stick from his hands and placed it beside the bed. Going outside the cave, she looked for some herbs and quickly dropped water into it and squeezed it into a ball. She walked back into the cave and pulled his shirt off. She stared at his pant, contemplating whether to pull them off or not. His whole body was purple and she had to pull it off so she could apply the herbs to his legs too. After some minutes of fighting with herself, she pulled away his pants. Thank goodness he was wearing underpants. Raziel picked the herbs from the other bowl, pressed some into his mouth, and used the other to rub his body. "All done," she sighed, cleaning the herbs from her forehead and wearing back his clothes. "Ahh it's late, Mother would scold me," she said, running out of the cave and heading home. ....... The next day, Raziel sneaked out of the cabin and walked to the cave. The man was still asleep or maybe dead. What would she tell her mother, that someone died in her hidden cave? Secondly, there's no way to call the police in this forest. They'll never come. She walked towards the wooden bed where the man was lying and sat on the little space left. His skin has returned to normal and his face isn't pale anymore, so why hasn't he woken up? She cringed her face as the stench of herbs filled the cave. She should go dip a cloth in water and clean this place. Just as she stood up from the wooden bed, her hands were suddenly grabbed, causing her to sit back and turn her head to the side only to meet with a pair of golden eyes. Strikingly beautiful eyes. Wait. One moment! Why was he staring at her like food? "Y...you, I'll...." Before she could complete her sentence, she felt his hands on her head and he dragged her towards him with his mouth open. His teeth were longer and scarier. What was he? She stared at his golden brown eyes which belonged to hybrid werewolves. So she read in books. He is a hybrid. Rare and powerful. Deceitful and bloodthirsty.
