Cast A Spell, Quickly

"W-what was that?" Raziel asked, surprised. "s**t they're here," Sebastian exclaimed, turning his head left and right. He was so immersed in the conversation with the girl that he couldn't sense them coming. "Who?" He stared at her before ordering. "Shut up." Raising his palm, he used it to cover her mouth. It was either they heard her or smelled her. It was impossible for them to feel his presence since he doesn't have any scent. They have to leave this place. He stared at the girl, contemplating whether to leave her here to her fate or take her along. If he does that, she is going to slow him down, and if he doesn't, the rogue vampires would definitely kill her. Now that the poison in his vein has dissipated a little, he would be able to take down a few vampires, but with her tagging along, he wasn't so sure. Sebastian could sense they were closer to the cave and they were coming in full force. "Is there another exit here," he asked softly, removing his hands from her lips. "N…no. What’s ha..happening? "Come with me.” Taking his staff from the wooden bed, he dragged her along with him and they both came out of the cave. He carried her in his arms and ran deep into the forest with inhuman speed. Sebastian stopped for a while and his ears tingled. They were close and he couldn't go faster than this, or else the girl in his arms might die from the cold. "W...what’s happening? Put me down," Raziel cried, shivering from the cold. "Stay still, else I'll put you down for millions of rouge vampires to feast on," he threatened, looking into her eyes. He at least hoped this threat would make her shut up and stay still. "V-vampires? But I heard vampires don't walk in the daytime." "That's what they wanted you to believe, little girl.” "So are there v-vampires in this forest? I've never seen anyone here before." "They were after me, but now, they are after both of us," he informed. "W-what? But I did nothing wrong, was it because I saved you?" Asked Raziel. Her mind was telling her she had made a very huge mistake by helping him and it was going to cost her. So he was a bad person after all. Her mother and siblings would be looking for her by now, what was she going to do? “Wait, My family. Please stop.” Sighing, he answered before he started speeding again. "They’re going to be fine. Your family would be able to save themselves. So now stop struggling and keep shut, unless you want to be someone's meal today.” Damn, they're close. He might not be able to run far before they get to him. He has to do something before they get to them. Sebastian stopped and put the girl down on her feet. She bent a little, rubbing her arms and shivering like a leaf. "Cast a spell quickly," he urged. "Spell? W...what?" "Do as I say already, redhead. Cast a shield spell quickly," he repeated, this time more urgent than the former. "I don't know ho..how to cast any spell," Raziel answered, shakily. So this was the reason why her mother has always tried to make her learn those spells. Being a witch is accompanied by knowing those spells and learning how to cast them but in her case, she doesn't know them nor can she cast them. If she knows those spells, she could have been able to save them from the vampires chasing them as he said. Her heart was beating loudly as she heard the distant footsteps of multiple people she guessed were the Vampires. The wind blew, leaves flew and she blocked her eyes from it. If she manages to get out of this trouble today, she is surely going to learn those spells as if her life depends on them. Every single one of them. "What did you say?" Sebastian asked with his brows drawn together. “I-I don't know how to ca..cast any spell." "Are you not a witch? Even a twelve-year-old knows how to cast a shield spell, how come you don't?" He asked, sweeping his hand into his hair in frustration. His patience was running thin and she was the problem right now. If she can't cast a spell, then he'll have to fight the Vampires and a fight between vampires is not something a petite girl like her should witness. She might just die even before he takes down one of the vampires. He tried to consecrate his hearing and find out if they were close and damn, they were just a thousand meters away from them, and for a vampire, it would take less than five minutes for them to get here. "I didn't wa..want to learn because it..it takes too much time a..and energy," Raziel answered. Tiny droplets of tears blinked from her eyes as she stared at the ground in shame. She thought back to her parents and sisters and could only hope they were safe and that they cast a spell to save themselves. Her mother would probably be pacing around, worried about her, mostly because she can't cast a single spell for protection. She was such an unfilial daughter. "Unbelievable. Are you so dumb?” "I'm not du..dumb, and it's your fault for putting me in this dangerous situation, I was on m..my own when you came from n..nowhere with a purple body. I was so nice and I he..helped you but you kept yelling at me. I know r..right? I shouldn't ha..have helped.....," her other words buried into her mouth as she stared into his blazing eyes. "S-sorry," Suddenly, thousands of people Raziel presumed as the vampires came into view. Their looks were so scary that she felt like she would faint just at the sight of them. Her breath hitch as her hands flew to cover her mouth. She has started crying. It wouldn’t be long until they see them. All of a sudden, she muttered incoherent words, and just then, a circle-shaped bubble formed and circled them.
