Something’s wrong. I just got this feeling when having drinks with Alice. She’s someone from work.
Weirdly, I thought it’s Kate when I glimpsed a girl being carried out of the lounge. I wasn’t sure if it’s because I missed her so much that she fully occupied my mind. The thought still made me unsettled.
‘Did you recognize the girl who just got out? ’ I asked a bartender, expecting more information.
‘No. Sir. She’s not a regular. ’
‘Ok. Thanks.’ Well. How silly I was. It couldn’t be her. I was overthinking.
