"You thought you was slick, huh ?" I said leaning fowards toward Brianna.
"No sorry I--"
"Who are they ?" the man said putting the gun on Jim head.
"Rodrick, this is my daughter, Renee, and her boyfriend Jim."
"Oh." he said putting the gun away.
"He looks a little old for her."
"Jim was my husband."
"Oh really ?"
"Brianna it's not my fault."
"It's mom to you."
"No it's not. Anyway, Rodrick,how you doing ? I said turning to him.
"Fine."
"That is wassup. You can keep Brianna and Michael and Avery how long you want. It's your choice."
"Ummmmmmm okay."
"Renee for the last time, it's mom."
"Nah. It's my mouth. I'm grown." I said rolling my eyes. "You cool man. I like that."
"Umm thank you."
"Yea. We gotta go Renee."
"Ok. Bye Michael, Rodrick, Brianna."
"No it's mom to you."
"No my mom has respect for her body. She is not a thot. Gotta go."
"She just told you." Rodrick said laughing.
We got in the car and drove off. I finally stood up to my mo- I mean Brianna.
I remember my mother isn't a prostitue. I bounced out of my thoughts when the car stopped.
I got out but was stopped. The house looked so different. We walked in and saw the place trashed.
Everything was a mess. But there was a note. I picked it up and noticed the handwriting.
'I TOLD YOU TO STAY AWAY. YOU DON'T LISTEN. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.'
It was Raven. But with who ? I known her to long for her to do this. Wait until I see her.
Today I decided to go to school. I missed weeks of school. So chances are that I am not graduating.
But the school doesn't care. As long as you show up, there is nothing to worry about.
I walked in the school and everyone stared at me and started murmuring. I knew exactly what it was about.
I went to my locker and a letter fell out. I kneeled down and picked it up. I opened it up and began to read.
Dear Renee,
As you may know, I trashed your place. So what I don't like you. You are a slutty b***h who doesnt know how to keep your hands off. Chris was mine first. He left me for you. You come in and take people things. When I see you, it's going down.

I knew she was crazy. I knew she was someome not to trust. I just snickered at her little letter.
She tries to do the most. The bell rang and I walked to class. I walked to the back and sat down. Not trying to be noticed.
Raven and Ramona came in and sat down not noticing me. Then came Avery with Brittany all hugged up.
Wait did I miss something ? I just shrugged it off and began texting Jim.
(TEXT CONVO)
-Hey
Jim- Aren't you in skool
-Yea. It is boring in here.
Jim- I hear that. Did you see Raven
-Yea. She walked in with Ramona. And she gave me a letter
Jim- What did it say
-Something about how she dated you first and im a slut she crazy
Jim- I know. I guess my looks get the ladies thinking they dated me
-Shut up
Jim- It's not my fault im cute.
-You are awwwwww
Jim- What kind of cute. Baby cute and grown up cute
-Baby cute awwww
Jim- Shut up
-Luv u too
Jim- Mmmmhmmmmm
-Ok ok ok. You drop dead gorgeous *sarcastic voice*
Jim- You better stop.
-Alright. Sheesh. Men and their horomones.
Jim- Hey.
-Lol. The bell rang. See you at the hotel.
Jim- Aight.
(TEXT CONVO OVER)
I hopped out my chair to see my crew staring at me. Avery, Brittany, and Ramona ran to hug me.
Raven sat there with jealousy in her eyes. I just rolled my eyes in disgust and began talking to them.
"Hey guys."
"Hey boo." Brittany said. "Haven't seen you in a minute."
"Yes I was busy."
"I hear that." Ramona said butting in.
"I have been. But why is Raven mad at me."
"About that." Avery said pulling me into the corner.
"She claims that her and Jim was dating before he moved over here and met you. She was only 14. Talking about dating. Then she tried to make us help her trashed the place. We declined the request and she said she had people to help her." Avery said lowly so nobody can hear us.
"Wow. I guess I need to know my fake and real friends."
"I hear that."
"But how come I didn't see you with Rodrick, Brianna, and Michael on Saturday ?"
"Rodrick said since I worked hard, I got a 3- week break."
"That's great. But I seen you and Brittany all hugging and stuff."
"Wellll........."
"Well what ?"
"She likes me."
"Do you like her back ?"
"Yes but I am kind of nervous of asking her out."
"Oh don't be. Set up something nice. We all known each other for years now. You know what she likes."
"Yes, I do."
"Now whatever you do, don't give her flowers. She hates them. Gove her chocolate. Have good pick up lines. Be a gentleman. When you are finished, she will never forget that night."
"Thanks Renee."
He pulled me for a friendly hug. He hugs tightly. So I started suffocating.
"Avery......... you're choking me."
"Sorry. But thanks."
"You are welcome."
School was almost over. I was with my friends having a good time. Then Raven approached me. I guess it is time.
Everybody crowded us up to hear what was going down. I guess it is about to go down.
"Hello Renee."
"Raven."
"And so I have heard."
"Heard what ?"
"You like to steal men."
"I told you what was going down with Jim and I. And you didn't have a problem. Why now ?"
"Because we dated before. Yea I loved him. But I broke up with him. He was too much to handle. Seeing you with him makes me sick."
"Then when you see me, close your eyes the. Duh."
Everyone started laughing. Raven lunged at me. Everybody grabbed out their phones and began recording.
I was pulled down by my hair. I kneed her in the stomach and she groaned in pain.
I stood up and gripped her hair tightly amd she began clawing my face.
I gave one, hard punch which made blood gush out. She tried to kick me but I caught her leg pushing it towards her face and she started whimpering.
I dragged her by her hair and kept punching. Why wasn't no one stopping the fight ? I didn't care. I had on some J's.
So I kept stomping her out until I got pulled away. I looked at the hands and seen a skull on the hand. It was Jim.
But how did he know ? The principal spoke through the intercom making everyone get dissmissed early expect us to.
Jim was here. There was nothing to worry about. We walked into Mrs. Daniels office.
She was a cool principal. As long as you told her the truth, you didn't have to care.
We told her what happened and she understood. She called someone as we left.
We got to the hotel and I went to take a shower to get the blood off of me.
I was washing up and arms wrapped around me. I jumped up and hid my body.
"Jim what are you doing here ?"
"I want to shower too."
"But with me ?"
"Yes, it saves water."
"That is not an excuse for you to shower with me."
"Whatever."
He picked me up and pushed me towards the shower wall. And he kissed me very passionately. Y'all know what went down.
We got out of the shower giggling. I sat down and put on my pajamas. I put my wife beater and my basketball shorts and laid down.
Jim came in and we snuggled up and went to sleep. He was just so warm.
We went back a few weeks later. We had the house cleaned since Raven and her people messed it up.
Then the doorbell rang. It was the least expected for me to see. It has been a minute.
