Today was my baby shower. Yes I know people have when they are like 6 or 7 months but this was a late notice.
"Jim, did you get the cake and all the food ready ?" I said making sure because he forgets a lot of stuff.
"Yes Nee." he replied.
"And other mommy, did you get the decorations ?" I asked Ms. Joyce.
"Yes sweetie. Now sit down and don't stress yourself out and lose my grandbaby."
"Ok. But I don't want nothing to go bad."

Everything did turn out fine. Everyone was having a fun time but I didn't understand why there was a mic and a band in the back.
But back to what I was saying, I took pictures, we played games but we didn't open the gifts.
"When can we open the gifts ?" I had went inside since I was feeling bad outside too long and I made myself a plate. Mama J and all the and Auntie Christine came in just in case anything happened.
"Soon. Now relax." she replied.
"Ok."
After like 20 minutes, I felt a little better to go outside. Jim came and rub my stomach.
"I have a surprise." he whispered in my ear.
"What is it ?" I replied.
"Watch." he walked up to the mic and tapped it testing it. Everyone turned around and looked at him.
"Everyone as you may know, this is our baby shower. So I have a surprise for Renee." the beat came in and I nodded to it and he began singing.

Everyone clapped and cheered for him. He even danced and everything. Jim was good. I walked up to him and gave a long hug and kiss.
"Jim that was amazing." I said still hugging him.
"Thanks babe." he kissed me and rubbed my stomach.
"Jim." Michael said walking over to us. "That man over there wants to talk to you about your song."
"Good luck." I kissed him again and he walked over to the man.
"I can't believe it." I said smiling.
"Jim told me that singing was his hidden talents."
"You knew and didn't tell me ?" I said.
"Yes. We have been bestfriends for a while now so." he responded.
Jim came back over and we stopped our conversation. He started smiling and jumping like a little girl.
"Well that man is a producer and he wants me to audition for him." he said hugging me. Then something ran down my legs and pain came in my lower abdomen.
"Ouch. Jim my water broke." and everybody heads turned.
