The couple is seething with anger as they trace their way back home.
Johannes looks like nothing his usual allure and the same could be said of Nancy. They are far from the perfect man and woman that they had been portraying all along.
The two reek of exasperation that cannot be quelled by simple words of affirmation.
“Do something about that daughter of yours! How could she do that to her own sister? That ungrateful wench should’ve dropped dead somewhere...”
