“Calvin, damn it! Answer the phone!”
Like a shaking child, my hand dropped the phone that I was holding on the ground. I’ve been on edge since I escaped Lucy’s presence and the person who can answer all my questions cannot be reached.
This is freaking the hell out of me as my brain creates all these weird ideas concerning John and Calvin. I feel silly as I poison my own mind with all those disgusting scenes where Calvin handled that man with brutality.
He is such a charming person who only dismissed his housekeepers after that bullying. I can’t believe that I am letting my own damn self be poisoned with all that horrible stuff.
