Lucy with her bloody knife and Ada with the chair in her hands.
None of them looks aesthetic at the very least, and the angst on their faces tells that a not-so-beautiful affair is about to start. One of them wouldn’t be able to escape the room unscathed, finally ending the deep misunderstanding between them.
“Think wisely, Lucy. I won’t even bat an eye when the police grab you by the neck. You deserve to be sent inside those prison bars and rot there until the end.”
Lucy licked her lips, showing that she had no qualms about a single word that Ada said. The old woman had long regarded Ada as a pest that she needed to obliterate no matter what. Her former tenant is playing the role of a natural villainess in her own fairytale.
