Chapter 30 – A Father's Love

Either the back door that we are looking for does not exist or we just can’t find it.
We’ve been playing hide and seek with these men since we learned about their existence, yet it looks like it won’t end any moment now.
They did not leave the place after checking the building and we are unable to do the same. More men came in after an hour or so, blocking all the possible spots that we can use to escape this building.
“No one saw them. I asked around and not a single person was able to recognize those two.”
Calvin and I are currently hiding in the ceiling. We luckily chanced upon a broken vent and were able to push ourselves inside it. It was a cramped space, and we were left with no choice but to snuggle like worms.
