The First Script - Becoming Enemies with Big Brother

1961 Words
Social practice was arranged in a natural reserve, with the activities ostensibly aimed at allowing young people to experience nature and life. In reality, it was nothing more than a campfire party and camping amusement for the children of wealthy families. In the original plot, Alex was protected by Chloe Du, and they were in the same group. Oscar Wilson had planned to take him outside and use him as a servant but was obstructed by Chloe Du. He feared Chloe Du's family background and dared not offend her easily, so he could only harbor resentment behind her back. Now, unexpectedly, Alex proposed to be in the same group as Oscar, but after a cold rejection, he joined Chloe Du instead. Although he had adhered to the antagonist role, the differences between him and Oscar Wilson inevitably caused some butterfly effects, much like Chloe Du's delayed progress bar from earlier. Emily was somewhat worried about whether the main plot could proceed smoothly this time. This social practice lasted for seven days. On the third day, Alex would be kidnapped and taken to an abandoned cabin in the nearby mountains by the kidnappers. They used a signal-blocking device to prevent Alex from sending distress signals. Trapped in the dark cabin during the night, he would experience an outbreak of claustrophobia, losing his clarity of mind and losing control of his emotions. Later, in the wee hours of the night, he would overhear the kidnappers' conversation. It turned out that all of this was orchestrated by Oscar Wilson's mother, Ruth Wilson. Ruth wanted to eliminate Alex, the illegitimate son, to secure Oscar Wilson's inheritance. Originally ordering the criminals to kill Alex as soon as they captured him, the kidnappers had internal conflicts and decided to negotiate with Ruth Wilson for a higher ransom, prolonging Alex's fate. During their confrontation, which Alex unintentionally overheard after escaping from captivity, he learned that Ruth Wilson not only ordered his abuse by Oscar Wilson but now also wanted him dead to secure her son's inheritance. Discovering the truth, Alex harbored deep hatred for this malicious mother-son duo. However, his escape did not go smoothly. He was soon discovered by the kidnappers and chased all the way to a mountain road. Wanting to seek help from passing vehicles on the road, he was hit and thrown into the sea after being struck by a car. Most people would likely be dead after such an incident, but Alex is the male protagonist! Protagonists are destined to enter a mysterious realm after falling off a cliff, receiving the secrets and skills of a master! How could he possibly die from a mere car accident, falling off a cliff, or jumping into the sea?! So, after plunging into the sea, Alex, as expected, did not die. Instead, he was saved by Rosalie Zhang, who happened to be vacationing in the area. After being saved by Rosalie Zhang while severely injured, Alex realized that he had no place in The Wilson family and decisively followed Rosalie Zhang away. Then followed the classic and cliché plot of lurking for several years, returning for revenge, and building a harem. Rosalie Zhang, as the second female lead, lived up to her name—a gentle and beautiful young lady. Though she also had the traits of a "Saint," unlike the courageous and just Chloe Du, she had been fragile and sickly since childhood. Protected by her family, she was pure and delicate, deeply traditional, lacking the same strong willpower as Chloe Du. She was a small woman who longed to rely on her chosen man. She was the warm harbor that healed Alex's wounded heart after his injuries. Truly a harem story—each of the female characters made Emily, a single dog, quite envious. The script probably banked on these female characters. Upon entering the natural reserve, everyone carried a locator device. In case of danger or weakened vital signs, they could manually or automatically emit signals for rescue. Therefore, leaving the group for independent activities was not unusual; many wealthy children considered it an opportunity for secret and exciting adventures. On the third night, unsurprisingly, no one noticed that Alex had silently lost contact. Chloe Du might have suspected something, but the classmates they were with told her not to meddle. In order to ensure that the plot followed its original trajectory, Emily also left the crowd and, guided by the specific coordinates given by the plot, arrived at the area where Alex experienced the car accident and fell into the sea. He found a dense thicket, sat by the mountain wall, and quietly waited. Luckily, the simulation didn't include annoying mosquitoes; otherwise, he would have been covered in bites and unable to sit still. He closed his eyes to rest, with no intention of "falling asleep" tonight. After an unknown period, Emily was "awakened" by the faint footsteps in the grass. Without moving a muscle, he opened his eyes, adjusting to the darkness. He vaguely saw a figure descending from the mountain. Silently landing on the ground, the figure finally sighed in relief upon seeing the road ahead. The lamplights by the road illuminated his prominent nose and golden-brown hair—it was indeed Alex, who had been kidnapped. Checking the time, Emily noted that it was only eleven at night. The timing was off; it was too early. As expected, he opened the plot panel and saw the "suggested correction" prompt. Alex should have escaped to this location at around three in the morning and, after falling asleep, been struck by a driver who didn't hear the automated driving alarm. His condition was also off. He was too composed, not at all like the frenzied collapse during the outbreak of claustrophobia. His movements were efficient and silent, indicating a clear judgment on how to escape. There was no one chasing him, and the kidnappers hadn't even realized he had slipped away. Judging by the timeline, the negotiation between the kidnappers and Ruth Wilson hadn't reached Alex's ears yet. Perhaps he thought it was an unclear kidnapping purpose or simply a straightforward ransom request. Emily furrowed his brow; what he anticipated had indeed happened. His differences with Oscar Wilson caused everything to deviate, affecting even the main plotline on Alex. However, he had prepared in advance. Unlike the original plot's Oscar Wilson, who only cared about his own indulgences, Emily had ambushed Alex on his inevitable path. So, it wasn't too late; he could still patch up this part of the plot and steer everything back to the original storyline. Now, what he needed to confirm was Rosalie Zhang's location. Since the time frame was different, where was she now, and could she successfully rescue Alex or encounter him? As a tester logging in, Emily's entertainment options were much more limited than those of a main player. There were no points or shops, and he couldn't exchange for various quirky items. However, when certain characters deviated from the main plot, he could temporarily gain GM privileges, gather necessary information, and make some appropriate interventions. A terrain map appeared as a hologram in front of Emily. Although it seemed to be a cliff halfway up the mountain, it wasn't too far from the sea surface. So, after Alex, severely injured, fell into the sea, he hadn't drifted for long before being saved by Rosalie Zhang. The mansion's vacation villa was on the beach, and Rosalie Zhang's room had a window with a view of the sea. The yellow little figure symbolizing Rosalie Zhang was currently moving around in the room; she hadn't gone to sleep yet. Emily immediately made up his mind. He stood up, walked out of the jungle, and the rustling sound of leaves immediately caught Alex's attention. Thinking it was the kidnappers coming to capture him, he cautiously distanced himself. However, with the help of the streetlights on both sides, he saw someone unexpected. "Big brother?!" Alex widened his eyes in surprise and asked cautiously, "Are you here to find me?" Emily walked to the side of the road, overlooking the sea. He casually nodded. Alex could barely contain his inner joy, trotting over to Emily. The sea breeze tousled his soft hair, and his bright golden eyes shimmered in the moonlight, expressing the tumultuous emotions of an adolescent. He tentatively reached out to touch Emily's hand, his clear voice crisp and moving, "Big brother, it's not safe here. Someone wants to kidnap and extort us. Let's leave this place first." "Kidnap and extort?" Emily coldly shook off his hand, sneering, "Alex, you're really troublesome." "A lowly bastard like you doesn't deserve to stay in The Wilson family." He grabbed Alex's collar without hesitation, using his height and strength advantage to lift him in front of him. Looking down on him, he raised one side of his mouth, a malicious grin on his face, "Since you still don't understand, I'll tell you in person." "The person who kidnapped you was arranged by Mrs. Wilson, my mother. We agreed to eliminate you immediately, so why are you still alive?" Alex's face turned pale. He couldn't believe that his brother, who had once protected him, had secretly wished for his death. Powerless and pale, he stammered, "Brother?" "Heh." Emily seemed to hear an extremely amusing joke, "When? You're not talking about the time you almost got raped, are you?" He pinched Alex's chin, carefully scrutinizing his delicate features. His lewd and vulgar evaluation followed, "With looks like yours, you should be sent to the nightlife, be gang-raped, trained. As long as you open your legs for men, you can earn plenty. If it weren't for Father's accountability, even I would want to taste the flavor of such top-quality goods!" Emily thought this would be a tremendous humiliation for any man, especially considering Alex had narrowly escaped such a disgusting situation. It was meant to instill a deep aversion to same-s*x activities. Simultaneously, it served as inspiration for Alex and set a flag for himself, ensuring that the character of Oscar Wilson ultimately reached the destined ending. However, what he never expected was that Alex, initially genuinely hurt, hesitated for a moment at the end. A unnatural blush appeared on his face. Emily felt like something was off, but he knew he had to continue. He pushed Alex against the railing facing the sea and said icily, "Since you've always been so obedient, it's time for you to obediently die!" With that, he forcefully pushed Alex, causing him to lose balance and fall backward. His heart seemed to plummet along with his body. He met his brother's cold, resentful gaze in disbelief. The roaring sea breeze engulfed him, causing his mind to ache from the howling winds. It scattered his beliefs and dependencies, shattering the sweet illusions he held, leaving him utterly disoriented and unable to react. Only at that moment did he have to accept that his brother truly intended to kill him. He futilely reached out, trying to grasp onto something, but it was too late. He was pushed off the cliff and plunged into the dark sea, as if swallowed by the abyss, disappearing without a trace. The plot didn't offer any suggestions for correction, indicating that even if it had been a few hours earlier, Alex could have still successfully met Rosalie Zhang. Emily didn't need to worry anymore; for the "next few years," he wouldn't have to do anything. He could simply enjoy or skip through the carefree and pleasant game of life as he pleased. Returning to the lively party, Emily spent time with friends and eventually drifted off to sleep. The next morning, he saw Rosalie Zhang's relationship progress bar light up on the plot panel.
