21 Cory felt the world shuddering around him. Several big explosions from above made him think that maybe the walls would fall down. Let them fall, he thought. He would feast tonight; he would be in paradise tonight. He giggled. Then a horrible thought occurred to him. What if the sounds meant something was stopping Amoroth from taking him to see his darling patient? They must give him Lori; he had been promised.
