I had a hard time sleeping last night. Tossed and turned the entire night and saw my brother's face when I looked at him before going over the cliff. My heart squeezes at the thought of how I hurt him, hate that I had to do this to him.
Early in the morning I gave up and got dressed for the day instead. I have been in my office for a few hours thinking about my brother, and sometimes my mate comes and intervenes in my thoughts. I haven't allowed myself to think about him since the day I left his kingdom, meeting him now and the way he stirred up the bond is something I never thought I would feel again. I'm deep in thoughts when Jessie comes walking inside.
