“Lauren!” Scarlet entered the house and was welcomed by silence and the mixture of perfumes that her family used. Other than that, there was nothing.
She quickly rushed up the stairs and went towards the rooftop first. Maybe she was there.
When she reached the rooftop, there wasn’t any sign of the blonde woman. Deflated, Scarlet went back down and sighed loudly, before her mind told her to check the guest room.
She slapped herself in the face for being an i***t, and for not checking the guest room first, because when she had reached the guest room, she found a packed suitcase, but still not a blonde woman.
Scarlet walked inside of the room with a frown when she saw that the only evidence of Lauren staying in the room was her red suitcase, which looked completely packed.
