2: The stranger

564 Words
She was acting so casually as if she was getting ready for the work and so John wouldn’t get any doubt. As planned, Harry knocked on her front doorbell. She rushed and opened it, “Harry? What are you doing here?” she purposely raised her voice so that John could hear her. “What the hell are you thinking? Huh? You are not responding to any of my calls and texts…” “Harry… listen, it's over between us… Don’t make it a scene.” She shouted but Harry’s voice was not loud enough. She showed him a signal to raise his voice. “Over… huh? Over…?” He clenched his fists and shouted. My god… she knows he was just acting but still it really freaked her out. He looked so much intimidating than John. It really made her froze for a moment until she heard John’s voice from inside. “Cathy, Is everything okay?” John entered the first room near the door. “What, a guy…? So, you’ve started dating another guy…?” Harry asked. “Listen Harry…” she tried to pretend like begging. “Shut up you b****…” Harry yelled. What the hell… Did he just say the word, or I misheard? “Brother, she said it’s over… You got to leave.” “It’s over? No, not yet…” Harry shook his head and held her hips. She was totally bewitched like a statue and stood in shock. He pulled her towards him, very close to him, and slammed his lips on hers. Seeing this John was quite upset and so he left the house without a word. “F*** you,” As soon as John left, she pushed Harry away. Pushed with all her strength as he was so stronger than he looks. “What the hell are you doing? Why did you kiss me…?” “It was part of the act… see he left… we won…” Harry shrugged. “Get out from here… I don’t want to see your face anymore…” She gritted and said. He set his eyes on me. She was frozen why the hell he is staring at me like that. He smiled a bit. A positive smile on that grumpy face, but she really didn’t enjoy it. she hates him the most among all guys in the world. He took the fallen black suit from the floor and left. She peeped out to made sure again that he really left. He must be a womanizer. There were so many men and I was so stupid to ask help from him. She cursed him with all the bad words in the world. This is a hilarious incident and so she refused to say to Linda. She also felt so embarrassed to say this to anyone. Her phone rang, it was her mother and she didn’t pick it. She is calling her after 6 months. She ignored it and left for work. Surprisingly, her mother called her for the second time. She felt something isn’t right and she attended. “Hello, my dear How are you?” “Yeah tell me…” “I know we’ve been quite busy with work and didn’t call you. I am so sorry about that.” “I am getting late for work.” “Wait…wait… we are coming to San Francisco tomorrow.” “Why?” “We’ve something important to discuss with you…” “Alright… Dad has one more key… I will come after work.” “No… take an off tomorrow… It’s really important.” I have no choice rather than saying okay.
