Her Sister, His Ex

Chapter 9 Her Sister, His Ex “My ex, Lisa, we began dating through this game, truth or dare,” Elvin said. “She dared me to date her, and probably because she knew I liked her, I asked her out immediately. We sealed it with a kiss, and we had s*x. It sounded silly, so we didn’t tell anyone. Our life was a game, filled with lots of cards, and activity, and the winner made the loser do things, anything at all, the loser had to do it…it was beautiful. I never saw myself sharing with anybody, but we did talk of the idea every now and then. “One day, she included friends, on her request. She said she was dared to, and she wouldn’t say who dared her, only that she wasn’t playing the game alone with me. But, that I shouldn’t assume she was sleeping with other guys, which truthfully, I didn’t assume. We played the game with those we invited, kisses were dared and accepted and so much happened. Our guests left, and our lives returned to the way it used to be. One day, Lisa dared me to sleep with one of the ladies who had come with my friends that day, and I said no. “It resulted in us fighting, and she wanted to leave. I had to calm her and she said the only way around it was if I slept with the lady. Since it was a dare, and since I never did lose, I told her I hoped she knew what she was doing, and she said she did. Anyway, I did get to woo the lady, and soon, we had countless s*x, with lots of orgasms. I returned to Lisa and she said truth or dare. I was scared of what she would dare me to do, so I chose truth. Her request was crazy. She said I should tell her the truth about what I did to the lady. “I told her everything, and she was heartbroken. It made her cry, and I just stared at her in shock at first. This was a lady I valued and would have done anything not to hurt, but now she was hurt, and weeping, I moved to comfort her, but she brushed it aside. I just felt I couldn’t keep up, and that she was above my standards. I had nothing to do, literally. She left the next day, and broke up with me over a text. I tried to call her, but the number was not reachable. So, that’s what happened.” Eve couldn’t sympathize with him, even though she feigned it. She arranged this. She had always had a thing for Elvin right from High School, but she was too shy to approach him. She had watched him, hoping he would notice her someday, but it had never happened. Ann had brought up this great way to get him, and she had joined in till she became the one leading with more points in this game. “What was her name?” Eve asked. “Lisa,” Elvin said. “No. Her full name?” “Oh. She never told me. She had a crazy mindset. It was a wild one. She didn’t believe in giving her last name. She said that she would give it to me if I truly did merit it. I was hoping that day would come, that it was close, but we broke up and drifted apart, and I must say, she hurt me so badly.” Ann had kept her end of the bargain by not revealing her name, then. Poor Elvin. If only he knew. “I’m sorry for the heartbreak,” Eve said, not feeling sorry at all. She was closer to the man of her dreams. She was this close to owning him. But could she own him without telling him the truth? Could she keep all these a secret from him? “It’s part of life,” Elvin said. “Pain becomes a friend of ours, and we feel her sting every time. I admit, I miss Lisa, and I feel ashamed for doing what she asked.” “You would have lost her anyway if you didn’t do what she wanted.” Elvin laughed. “Really, she was bad for me. I’ve never experienced a girl with such wildness. It seemed she had no limits. In public, she teased. In traffic, it was worse. When driving, hell. It took so much for me to concentrate. She was good.” Eve stared at his dreamy face. He didn’t know who he was with. She had thought all these up. But Ann, who also was Lisa, had helped her through with it. Lisa, her half-sister. She had started out hating Lisa at first when her dad had married her mother, but this later changed both of them. Now, they saw themselves as blood sisters. “I feel embarrassed talking about it,” Elvin said, a hint of a smile on his face. He looked to the table. “But yours was way worse than mine.” He looked up at Eve. Eve already knew the kind of man Elvin was. He was nothing like the boy she had first met in High School. She had sent him a love letter, but he had laughed about it with his friends. Well, there was nothing like making a fool of someone that once laughed at you. She was ready for him. She would seduce him until he stripped everything about himself and the company he worked with. She needed to buy it. Who said she had to be fast. “The past does hurt,” Eve said. She came to sit close to him, and she took his hand in hers. She smiled. “I really love your shirt.” Elvin grinned. “Thanks. I was scared it wouldn’t be your size.” “So, the game we are playing, was it like the kind you and Lisa played?” Eve asked. Elvin slightly shook his head. “No. Yours is more complex. More arranged. Filled with more deception and seduction.” Everybody was a pawn in this game. The entire city was like a board game. If Elvin tried to flee from her, Eve would lockdown the entire nation, and she knew the right people to call.
