Cleaning of Monitors
From time to time monitors produce static electricity, which means that it attracts tiny dust particles like a magnet, if it has been used for a considerable amount of time. Monitors will have a coating of dust, even though you can't see it easily, this dust will make your viewable screen area unclear, it disperses light as it leaves the monitor, and this can lead to a fuzzy or slightly out of focus image, so it is advisable to clean your monitor quite regularly.
When you are cleaning your monitor use a glass-cleaning spray to clean the screen, making sure the monitor is switched off. Spray a little on a soft cloth (never on the monitor itself) and wipe the glass.
The companies that I have mentioned are only a few main players in the computer monitor market.
Taking all things into consideration, monitors are a very good output device to have, in fact you couldn't do without them, because they show you the user what is on screen and furthermore, they are a part of every day life, it doesn't matter where you are working, in an office, they are to be seen everywhere you look, so there is no point in trying to escape them.
Treat them with some TLC (Tender Loving Care) and they will be your best friend for life.
The cloth will probably become a dirty black colour.
Repeat this cleaning until the cloth is clean.
