What it feels like to be creative using Technology

History is the study of the past. This is quite an interesting subject. It connects the past with the present, especially regarding modern day History - Politics.

Technology is the study of computers. When it comes to having an aptitude in History - I can remember dates in History. I would know that Henry VIII was on the throne in 1509. It was an unstable period of History. I have History books at home. I would read them from time to time. It keeps me in touch with events that are happening or have happened. The Mediaeval and Prehistoric periods interest me most.

I use Technology to type my work online and to do some online shopping.

I would check emails and social media sites. I learned to use Technology when I learned to use a Commodore PC-1 and Commodore-64 and I learned touch typing using Mavis Beacon software.I help my Mom with IT problems when I can.

I have tried many jobs down through the years, some I've liked, some I wasn't too keen on.

The last job I had in February 2005 turned out to be a nightmare. I left it after the Pandemic in 2022.

I didn't know then that I was burnt out from working outside the home. I needed something creative to heal from the burnout and tension in my life.

I started walking, reading, drawing, colouring and writing, much to the displeasure of my family.

It was the very thing that I needed. I setup an account with Shortstorylovers.com and Storystar.com

I started writing at first, I was posting more on shortstorylovers.com and not as much on storystar.com pieces that I had already created on my PC. I translated them to English and left it at that for a few days. The days came and went, gradually the views increased and people commented that I was a good writer.

I didn't realise that I was that good at writing, but it felt really therapeutic, so I continued, and I am doing so until this day.

I have 2 collections chosen from Shortstorylovers to be published on their sister site, longfic.com which has me buzzing.

I have had 139 views for one collection on Shortstorylovers.com and the second collection views are growing steadily, which makes me really happy. I'm hoping this luck continues for years to come. Only time will tell on that front.

I am musical too. I love to watch musicals on TV, My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music and many more. The stories behind those musicals are very interesting.
