Sebastian’s Pov My shadow-wolves slithered along the edges of the hallway like ghosts, unseen by the frantic warriors rushing to the wrong end of the territory. Leila’s chamber was closed now. I could feel it, her scent trailing down the stones, her fear humming like a soft current in the air. Every step closer, the pull got stronger, like fate tugging me toward her.
