Episode 11: HUNTERS

(Ken the silver haired Hunter that abducted Esme corpse appears in front of an old building with Esme in a body bag. He kicks the steel door open and throws the corpse in with no respect for the dead body)

Karl: Take it easy on her, kid. Dead corpses contain vital knowledge and power

Ken: What do you do with it?

Karl: What I do with it is none of your concern as long as I pay you

Ken: Yeah. So give me my reward

Karl: (opens the bag and inspects her body. Points at the hole on her body. The hole left by Sora's attack) What did this to her? I told you not damage her, you runt

Ken: I don't know. Some Blondie blasted her with a black energy ball before I dealt the final blow. Why the f**k are you pissed? Is she still alive? (Kicks her corpse) See she is dead. I completed my task so pay me my God damn money

Karl: You feasted on someone's leftover (gives him half of the money)

Ken: This wasn't the amount we agreed on old man

Karl: Since you didn't get to fight giving you the full payment will be a waste of my money

Ken: I see (pulls out his silver handgun from its case and locks and loads it pointing it on Karl's forehead ready to pull the trigger)   Do not play with me

Shane: (He has been watching them for a while now from the dark and finally decides to come out to stop Ken from wasting a bullet) Lower your gun Ken. Karl he killed her didn't he?

Karl: Well he...

Shane: (Sinister smile) Pay him in full

Karl: (throws the rest of the money  at Ken) Now what!?

Shane: (lights a cigarette) Take your dead friend and leave before you become like her (blows out the smoke smiling at him)

Karl: (sweat rolls down his cheek as he hurriedly drags the corpse out of the building)

Ken: Tsk! Should have let me blow up his stupid head (spins his guns on his index finger)

Shane: Sorry but I'm expecting a visitor soon

Ken: (puts his silver handgun back in its case) Someone is coming? A new job request?

Shane: No, not a job request. We will have a new member. I will tell you about her later, tell me more about this Blondie that fought Esme

Ken: Her? We are having a girl as a new member!? The Hunters has never had a female member before, are you sure you know what you are doing? 

Shane: Do you question my judgement? (breaks his cigarette in half)

Ken: (Steps back in fear) No. I do not. Just that...

Shane: Watch your mouth

Ken: I want to know more about this girl that made you go against the Hunters tradition (loosen his handgun from its case and focuses his gaze on Shane. They witness a long moment of silence. Shane finally a breaks the ten minutes silence)

Shane: You will meet her soon. Now about this blondie, what's his name?

Ken: (sighs) I think I misplaced the card he wrote it on. I will go over his place tomorrow and ask him "hey buddy I can't find the card you wrote your name on, please do remind me what it is". Do I even know where he lives, like how the f**k do you expect me to know this?

Shane: You noticed nothing about him?

Ken: He is about 5'7 feet tall and has red eyes and carries a stupid scythe. He also uses weird powers

Shane: Weird how?

Ken: All his attacks are always black in color and somehow looks like a shadow, weird right?

Shane: Not weird. There are people blessed with the gift of controlling shadows. They are very formidable (rubs his chin) could it be...

Ken: Controlling shadows how?

Shane: They live in a place called the Shadow Realm and they use their shadow or any nearby shadow to fight. Some can use it to heal any form of injury

Ken: How do you get to this Shadow realm?

Shane: Don't be a fool, the realm will kill you before the people get the chance

Ken: Hmm

Shane: (lights up another cigarette) Back when I was a teenager I was given a job to kill a pregnant woman: to my amazement she could control shadows

Ken: You've fought one before?

Shane: (holds his cigarette in between his index finger and middle finger) She kicked my ass (laughs) She gave me this scar on my face and the one on my abdomen

Ken: She's that strong?

Shane: I almost died fool. I'm alive cause she let me go. You've heard about Seth Render right?

Ken: Of course. They used to tell us spooky stories about him when I was still in the Hunter's Hidden Camp

Shane: Seth Render is the kid brother of Sakura Render, the woman I had a near death experience with. If my theory is correct then the boy you met is her son, Sora Render (smokes his cigarette and blows out the smoke) And guess who the father is

Ken: Who is the father?

Shane: Saito

Ken: Whoa! I didn't see that one coming. How do you know all this?

Shane: I'm not the leader of the Hunters for nothing. Information is power and I make it my job to know these things

Ken: I see. The family is gifted (grins)

Shane: Why the heck are you grinning?

Ken: I'm looking forward to battling Sora Render

Shane: You are gonna die by your hands you troublemaker.

By the way since he bested Esme that means he's no ordinary kid, I wouldn't underestimate him if I were you (throws away his cigarette and tramples on it) It's about time we welcome our new member (walks outside with Ken to meet a girl standing at the front door of the building)

(In the Shadow Realm: Takashi brought Sora's unconscious body to Tsume the Realm's doctor. He lays him on a soft body. She uses her shadow to cover his entire body healing him. She cuts him open letting the poisoned blood flow out)

Takashi: Is he going to be alright?

Tsume: No one has ever died on me Sage, so calm down let me work or you wanna take over?

Takashi: Sorry, please continue

Tsume: Did Saito do this to him?

Takashi: I'm not sure (Sora slowly opens his eyes groaning in pain)
