MAE“Did you find any new information about the missing boy?” I asked, sitting across from Damon at Oasis.
After this morning, I hadn’t seen him all day. I’d so desperately wanted to help out in any way that I could, but he’d refused each time.
Damon sighed through his nose. “We’re assuming that the boy was taken by rogues. Alpha Richard caught the scent of rogues after the a*******n of some of his pack’s pups. We believe it’s the same people, but we have no other damn leads on it.”
He seemed way too on edge today, too snippy, too.
“I’m sorry that you have to deal with that. It’s terrible, what’s happening. No mother deserves to be put through that.” I frowned and grasped his hand. “How is she holding up? I can talk and comfort her if you want.”
