“You’re on speaker phone Lily.”
I didn’t even glance at the phone on the bed as I tugged out my battered suitcase . God it had seen a fair bit of travel since I had bought it to go to Las Vegas for Caseys hen do.
“That’s ok, you are as well. So I can pack.” I started to retell them everything. Not bothering to skirt over anything. The more Luca knew the better.
“Do you know what he was arrested for Liky?” His voice travelled well over the phone. The joys of technology. And really good reception.
“No, they didn’t say. And I was dragged out before I could hear anymore. James was furious.” Of course I could understand his anger. He had, after all just caught me, his fiancé almost naked with another man.
I would have been angry too.
“James your fiancé?” Luca’s voice was bewildered
