Dimitri’s cool voice sent goosebumps erupting up my arms and I sent a puzzled look at Alice.
My eyes drifted to Sophia, she was shaking ever so slightly. She didn’t raise her head, instead she stared at her clasped hands.
“I have a few other….”
“No,” Alices voice was sharp. “No , you may come across as charming but I’m not fooled . This was your end game the whole time wasn’t it?”
What was she talking about! Confused I looked between the two of them. Something was going on here that I didn’t understand.
“Of course not.” His Voice was was so even it was freaky. “I never once made any kind of advance on Sophia, you can ask her yourself.” He raised an eyebrow. “Sophia?”
“Dimitri has always been the gentleman of his family.”
