I couldn't tell if his act of generosity was sarcastic or if I'd just been messed up but I knew I couldn't let down my guard. Not while I'm in enemy's territory. To be able to run or fight back, I'd need to replenish my lost energy. So, I sat on the cold hard floor and began to gobble down my food.
I was just halfway through my food when I heard footsteps approaching. It was a guard, my adrenaline pumped up as they unlock the door and pulled me up, taking me towards a run.
"The Alpha wants to see you tonight. You have to look good so have your bath and wear this dress. In a few minutes I'll come get you." He tossed a bag to me and after a moment of hesitation, I checked to see a black sequin dinner dress.
