A long drive led me to almost the end of the city and it took a couple hours to reach there. The place had only one building in a forest as dense as this. It looked abandoned, covered in moss and shredded paint. It looked like it would collapse if one pushed it too hard.
But this was a perfect hideout for him. I knew I didn't miss when I saw the car out front.
Then, I saw her through the window and I knew I had to jump in to save her. Her teary eyes, her pursed lips indicating fierceness even in the face of death and her sharp outbursts was enough reason for me to want to save her.
