Everything was a blur for me. I could hear people calling my name. Sometimes I would recognize the voice. Mostly it was Reed. I tried opening my eyes, Rocky was sitting by my bedside while talking with Reed.
Reed was constantly by my side. I could hear his whispers. He was calling my name. “Elara, do you hear me?” Reed kept on asking me. The worry in his voice was too obvious.
I tried calling Reed’s name but no voice came out of my mouth. It felt hoarse, irritated.
I was trying to reach for Reed’s face but I could not feel my hands, I could not feel my body. All I managed to do was control my thoughts, beyond that I had no control over my body.
