Elara was still sleeping when I came back. She was still snuggled in the thick blanket, still on the floor.  The rain seemed to have no plan in stopping. In fact, the water level in the river is starting to get higher by the second. But we are safe here. When I built this cabin, I made sure that it was located at a high point in the area. Safe from the winds and the waters. This was after all my sanctuary, this was Elara's sanctuary now. I carried two rabbits when I headed back to the cabin. I chase them around the forest in the rain earlier. I just had to get all those adrenalin out.  Somehow, after a few minutes of running around, the lust did go away.  I immediately changed into my now dried shirt and pants before I started cleaning and skinning the rabbits.
