I sat there staring at her and waiting for her to wake up. What clouded my thoughts was what to expect after she wakes up and goes back to Moonlight Haven. Aksher’s words slowly found its way back to my head. He had mentioned that she had an energy inside of her, and it was so powerful he could not place his hands on it. It worried me, what could that possibly be? Is she more than human? Sometimes I wished the “Nights” I read about were still living, life would’ve been so easy, and they could’ve solved so many mysteries for me like this very one. Aksher knew less because he was only a healer.
