Eileen's POV
"What?"
I blinked. "What do you mean 'here'?"
"He's surrounded Blackwood. With his army. Eileen... there are hundreds of werewolves with him. It’s an invasion."
My heart stopped. "No... no, that can't be. We’ve barely recovered. We just ended the witches. Amber just got set free."
He nodded grimly. "I know. And the Alpha triplets are outside right now, trying to hold the front lines. They're stalling him, but it won't last. He came for war."
I staggered back, the weight of his words crushing down on me. Jason. That bastard. After everything, he still wanted to destroy us.
"Then Amber can't stay here," I said, suddenly breathless. "She can’t be anywhere near this."
"I agree," Alex said quickly.
I grabbed his hand and looked him straight in the eyes.
