I give Charlie access to the outside door to the basement and I stay inside , looking at the fresh paint of the now closed off area to the basement . The fumes of the paint is hurting my nostrils , but this is all I could do . The sound of running tires coming down the driveway makes me run towards the door and I watch as she pulls up in front through the tinted window . I open the door as she reaches it , her hands full of bags and I take them as I stand in the shadow of the house , far away from the sunlight . " There's just a few more things in the car ." she motions back with her hand before putting the things down at her feet and she walks back to the car .
