Lucia
“Mate”
Did I hear that right? Did that word really just come out of the mouth of Nate Knight. My best friends brother, our soon to be Alpha. I must be hallucinating.
“Excuse me what?” Dean questions.
“Mate” Nate says again staring directly at me. No, no, no I can’t go through the pain of having another mate. I’m too far damaged from the last one. He has scarred me for life.
He starts walking towards me and I take a few steps back crashing into the table behind me. He looks at me confusedly noticing me walking away.
“Lucia?” Nate says worriedly.
“I’ll leave you two alone, I gotta change a diaper anyway” Dean says awkwardly.
“No! Give him to me I’ll change him” I say quickly grabbing Kyreen before he can decline me then I quickly run out of the room.
“Lucia!” Dean yells
