Chicken Biryani
The next day was a flurry of activities for Liya. Although she didn’t have much work to do at school, she was making plans for the dinner preparation. Making Indian food in a foreign country that was not known for spices was a difficult task. But she made a quick stop at the largest supermarket in the town and pondered over the merits of different small bottles of powdered spices. After buying from vegetables, chicken breast, potatoes, and basmati rice, she decided to make biryani. Ryuuhei had messaged her asking what she would like to drink for dinner, and she had suggested some red wine. Hopefully, that would do the trick.
