“Detective Reardon here.”
“Detective, it’s Chelsea Grey from Emerald Lake. We’ve had another incident. Officer Marshal is here from the Tallulah Falls station, but I believe this is related to Wenner’s attack in June. I thought you should be aware of what’s happened.”
“Okay. Why don’t you tell me?”
Chelsea explained finding the flash card and the arrival of Mason Ross and the attacker. She quickly told him about the chase through the grasslands, the snake bites, and up to the present.
“Do you know where your attacker is?”
“No, his car was gone when we got back to the cottage. I would think he’d try to reach a hospital.”
“Can I talk to the officer?”
