STONEY CREEK
It was Christmas Eve day, and Chelsea, Chaz, Elizabeth and Gord were gathered at the farmhouse. It was discharge day. The triplets were coming home. Sydney and Jax had spent the past few days in Kelowna prepping for their trip home with the girls. Jax had traded his jeep for a family van, and everyone at the farm was excited.
The day before in Kelowna, Sydney had signed the final papers transferring the ownership of a forty-acre parcel of land to Chelsea and Wenner. Wenner’s property in Emerald Creek had sold at the beginning of November with the new owners wanting a December 15th closing date, as they were determined to be in by Christmas.
