Kevin and I had been working on a mixture that we hoped would neutralize the formula that Lizette had created, turning it into something benign that could then be destroyed. Herbs and roots were tricky. There were always reactions within reactions when you start combining things in certain quantities. Much like relationships, combining too much of one thing or the wrong combination of things could turn volatile. We were trying to avoid that.
We stopped for lunch around two, both Kevin and myself starving. Bear gave us cold pizza in the break room which was really not very appetizing, but Kevin scarfed his portion down and then started talking to Bear about the Talos Warriors.
