LEXI POV
I got ready faster than Luke this morning and went into the dining room to get some breakfast before joining Bear and his teammates. I was ready to retrieve the formula. It made me nervous that it was still out there. I was followed by a sulky Luke. He and Kevin had gotten into an argument over dinner about me going back into the city to help destroy the formulas. Luke wanted to go with, but Kevin pointed out that he needed to stay and take care of some of the Alpha duties that he had been neglecting.
A compromise had been reached and Kevin was going to be accompanying me back to Seattle. Luke wasn’t happy about this at all, and he was definitely pouting.
I was halfway through my omelet when Bear joined us in the dining room with his team.
