Caleb and I ran out to get food for the group. When we got back to the warehouse, there was a picture of Lexi up on the big screen. Cyber and Jacob were busy clicking.
I dropped my bag and roared, losing control of Dryas and shifting. I leaped towards the screen; Jacob jumped back and flattened his back against it.
“Oh, s**t! Alpha, it’s fake. Lexi posed for this picture. She’s fine. Dryas, tell Luke to come back. Lexi is fine. This is all made up.”
I fought Dryas for control and finally shifted back. Cyber looked at my naked body, nodded appreciatively, and turned back to the screen.
“I’m going to add a little more blood here, but I think her mate’s reaction says this is pretty realistic.”
