LUKE POV
I was sitting in my office, trying to ignore the feeling of dread in my stomach. Kevin and Diedre were currently not talking to me and I was okay with that. I didn’t feel like arguing with them. I wasn’t going to change my mind.
Heidi knocked and then entered. “Alpha, Stephen Jones is here for you.”
I groaned and she looked at me emotionless. She was on Lexi’s side, too. Dammit.
“Go ahead and let him in.” I stood up, waiting for the fight I was sure to come.
Stephen came in and sat before he was invited. “Alpha.” He tipped his head to me, showing respect. I appreciated that.
“What can I do for you?” I was genuinely curious. Lexi had barged into my office yelling at me so many times already, I just expected her dad to do the same thing.
